About
Walnut Place Capital (“WPC”) is an independent private equity firm established to provide secondary capital solutions to lower middle market private equity investors (LPs) in partnership with existing sponsors (GPs) and management teams. The evolution of the private equity secondaries market has created new and innovative liquidity solutions that have been used effectively by large cap and middle market sponsors. The lower middle market, however, remains underserved by capital providers and intermediaries and offers compelling investment returns.

Managing PartnerAndrew Brown is the Founder and Managing Partner of Walnut Place Capital. Mr. Brown has been an investor in lower middle market companies for the past 25 years. Prior to founding Walnut Place Capital, Mr. Brown was a Managing Director and Investment Committee Member at Beekman Investment Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm based in New York. Prior to joining Beekman, Mr. Brown was a private credit investor in lower middle market companies at GE Capital and Patriot Capital Funding, Inc. Mr. Brown started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Brown serves on several boards of lower middle market companies and is involved in local charities in and around his home in Wilton, CT.
